So I went here for lunch and it was decent. The food was well cooked and tasty, the prices were not horrendous, the place was clean, the food came out hot and fast, and the staff qas friendly. Only reason this isnt a 5 star is they are cash only. This is 2019, its time for a square or clover system. You are limiting your income 30 to 50% simply by not taking any form of card.

Good place to go for old fashion Burgers and food, love their crinkle cut Fries....
Always stop when I go thru there! -

A quaint old fashioned drive in/dine in eatery. Not very stylish or modern, but a locally owned, been in the family for generations place. The Dixie Dog is a hand-dipped, flour battered dog on a stick, fried to perfection. The chili-cheese Coney had homemade chili! Fresh, home cut French fries. The burgers were fresh & made to order. No, it's not a heart healthy place, but the food was great & brought back childhood memories from long ago. We ate here 4 days in a row while working in town.

Legendary greasy spoon spot
This place is not healthy but it is pretty dang good
The Dixie burger is worth the time and money
The shakes and malts are really yummy
I have a real soft spot in my heart for this place. But my cholesterol levels will only allow me to eat there once a month -

The food was not bad but nothing great. The burger was way over seasoned with salt and pepper and the swindle patty was pretty small. The fries were fresh and came out crisp just the way I like them. The staff were not friendly but we're not rude. They seemed pretty unhappy and I never saw anyone smile. The best thing about the place was the Coke and they must have the syrup turned up because it was great. The worst thing was they are cash only and do not accept credit cards. I should have read the reviews on that but luckily I had some cash on me. I would go back to try something else.
